SenTAG wristband monitors the user by registering depth and time for each individual wristband. When a wristband passes below a preset depht, for example 70cm below the surface, a timer in the wristband starts. When the timer has reached its preset treshold, for example 20sec, the wristband sends out an ultrasonic alarmsignal which is recognised by the SenTAG receiver. Tresholds for depth and time can be adjusted for each individual wristband.
SenTAG receiver listeness for high ultrasonic frequences from the wristbands below surface. If the SenTAG receiver, receives an alarm signal from the wristband it directly transfer the signal to the system wall unit for further analysis.
The SenTAG receiver continously monitors the SenTAG system by sending out a “ping” signal and listen for the eco of the signal. If the system function is reduced for any reason for any reason this will be displayed on the SenTAG wall unit.
SenTAG Control Unit receive and analyse all signals from the SenTAG receiver. In case of emergency the wall unit alerts by light and sound. It could also transfers the signal to external alarmsystems.
SenTAG pager receives the alarm signal from the SenTAG wall unit and alerts the lifeguard by light, sound and vibrations. The SenTAG pager can also tell which pool the alarm comes from.
